This was the second year that I supplied and operated for Music In The City. This year they wanted us in the more rocky venue, Lancaster Vault.
Pretty much all the bands that were playing in this venue had about 4/5 people in that was pretty tricky to fit in the space as-well as having a good space for people to come and watch. Because this was the case i decided to only put in one monitor at the front providing vocals so all the band could hear. and then i also put pretty much every instrument apart from the drums though the PA system (Although sometimes the guitars diddnt need it, it was nice to know that if they did i could do something about it!)
I also provided lighting for the venue with a number of RGBW par cans located around the space with a couple of moving head wash lights to provide a front wash. This was all DMX’d together to a Chamsys PC wing and I had someone busking to the music.
Overall it was a great gig!
